The children went deeper into the wood until they escaped a policeman. They didn’t know what they were going to do. They decided to find the river and then walk down the river. They walked and walked. They walked three days. They finally got to the river. There they fished to have something to eat. The next few days they walked down the river. They saw a mill on the river. They started running. The mill was not abandoned. They slept there. Early in the morning, someone came in the mill. He was very old man. The children were frightened.

They asked who he was. He told them he working in this mill. He allowed them to stay there. The children helped him. He gave them some food. When Mr. Edi saw how hungry the children were, he took them home. He lived in a hut on a hill. His wife Manta prepared them to eat. The children asked them if there was a village or town . They said it was twenty kilometers away. The kids didn’t know what to do. Edi and Manta offered them accommodation for as long as they needed it. They were very happy. The next day, the kids and Eddie went hunting. They brought home three rabbits and one duck.

The policeman followed Lojze's friend. He didn’t know that. He also didn’t hear him. So, he went to the house. When he came, he put the eggs down on the table and he went to work. Policeman hid that nobody saw him. So, he looked what they were doing. He saw that they lived in the house. After a while he called to the police station and told what was going on.  They said to him that he had to grab and locked them.

Lojze and his friends were tiding the house. Suddenly they heart some foot. They looked. It was a policeman. He said:’’ We found you. Stay calm.’’ Lojze said:’’ Run!!!’’ They starting to run as fast as they could. Policeman started to catch him. Actually, he was a little bit to fat, so he was slow. He called to the police station and told him what was happened. They said to him that they will come and that he had to followed the kids. Kids still ran. Lojze looked back and a little behind them about ten meters away was still policeman. Lojze knew that they’re faster than him. So, after a while they escaped him. They were very out of breath. What happened then?

Lojze and a friend just went to the hospital. They wore wigs to look like girls. They waited and waited in the hospital. The doctor took them inside. He noticed he had a broken bone. Because they did not have a medical card and insurance, they had to pay. Of course, they had no money. They also told the doctor. They lied to the doctor that they were alone in this place on vacation without their parents. The doctor didn't believe them, but pretended to believe them. They went back to their house. They continued to work hard for their house. They decided to make traps to know if anyone was coming. Overnight, they went to the store and procured everything they needed. They bought food and paraphernalia. Paszi set up around the house, about fifteen feet away. When they set this up, they went to the hosho to sleep. Suddenly they heard the whistling of a trap. They hid in their hiding place under the house. They waited and waited. Suddenly someone opens the door. The children watched him through holes in the ground. He was a cop. He noticed that no one was here anymore, so he left. The children decided to stay in the house anyway as they put too much effort into it. They just made more traps just in case.

Lojze and his friends renovated the house for days and days. They worked very hard. They wanted to restore it as soon as possible. They became hungry. They still had some food, but not enough for a whole week. The Sun went down. They were slowly going to sleep. They lit a fire to keep them from getting cold. They soon fell asleep. The next day, Lojze woke up very early. The sun has risen. Lojze thought a little. He cared for him and his friends. He didn't want the cops to get him. He didn't know what to do. Soon his friends woke up too. They went to light a fire so that they could bake and eat something.  When they ate they went to work. They went to repair the house. They were nearing the end. They only had a little more to grow. Suddenly one of the friends hit himself with a hammer. It hurt a lot. His blood began to flow. They were all very scared. They thought he broke his bone. They didn’t know what to do as the whole city chased them. Lojzet's friend was in great pain. Lojze had to do something. He knew he had to go to the hospital. He was very worried. What happened then?

 When they started arranging it, they found out that they didn't have enough things to restore it well, so Lojze decided to steal it again and then be able to buy equipment to repair the house. Lojze went to a shop that was very far away. She had no camera and also the employee was already very old so Lojze easily stole the money. When he returned, he met a policeman who knew that Lojze liked to steal. And just after that, he got a call that someone had robbed the store. The policeman knew immediately that it was Lojze as he was coming from that side. The policeman started chasing Lojze. Lojze ran as fast as he could luckily o the policeman did not have much fitness so de soon stopped. Lojze quickly sniffed her. When he got back to the house he told the others what had happened. And then he sent someone else to the store for things to repair the house. Because if he went, the cops could get him. When his friend came back from the store they started renovating the house they were working night and day.

What happened after that?

They decided to go to town late at night and steal food. They made masks, painted plastic guns to make them look real. Of course, they knew that every store had cameras, so they smashed them with slingshots. They sneaked out of the warehouse and started stealing. They also stole backpacks to make it easier to carry food. When they had all gathered they went out. Someone saw them in front of the warehouse door. He did not call the police because he was a very old man and drunk. They went out of town and had a feast. The next day, they heard a car approaching them. They were afraid that the police would come, so they hid behind the trees. They noticed it was just a forester. Suddenly, someone behind the tree sneezed. The forester heard them. He went to look and noticed the child. He told him to play hide and seek. The forester believed him. At least they thought so. Just in case, they went even further out of town. After a few hours of walking, they noticed the house. They rushed to her as far as they could. They noticed that the house was abandoned. They decided to redecorate it to live in it.

Lojze started to worry a little about her friend. He hoped he wouldn't get lost, as it would be Lojze's fault. After a while, they became hungry. They had food. Lojze went to look in his backpack. He noticed that some food had disappeared. It was taken by a friend from the orphanage who had left them. Lojze calculated for how many days this food would be. He found that a friend had taken her very much. Lojze began to worry a little. He didn’t want to go back to the city as probably everyone is looking for him. The friends who were with him were disappointed at Lojze, wondering why we had to go. Everyone was angry at him. Lojze didn't know what to do. First, of course, they ate little food because they were starving. Then they reconciled and came up with a plan for the first one, and of course how to get food. Lojze immediately remembered to make a trap for some rabbit or something like that because they need meat. Friends were all against it, as they did not want to kill animals. In fact, it wouldn't be good for Lojze to have to kill the animal. So, they kept thinking. What happened then?

They came to a forest and stopped there. They looked for how long they still had food left. Lojze calculated that for one more week- it was getting dark so they went to sleep. In the morning  when they woke up one of them was missing. He left the others a little message. It said that he had gone back as he could not stand being in the woods and that he wouldn't tell others. Lojze knew that he was the weakest member of the group so he decided it is best for them to leave. They quickly got in the car and drove off. Lojze decided to go to the gas station to refil the gas and run away. The person working at the gas station called the police. Lojze knew the police would arrest only him so he left the others somewere away from the car. When he escaped from the police he returned to the group. When he arrived one of the group members was gone.
